Chateauneuf les Safres Red 2020

Produced in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, located in the Southern Rhône Valley, France. The estate Clos du Caillou is renowned for its high-quality terroir and traditional winemaking methods.

The wine is a blend primarily composed of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grape varieties, typical of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region.

The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted to ensure optimal quality. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with regular punch-downs to extract color and tannins. The wine is aged in a combination of concrete vats and oak barrels to develop complexity and balance before bottling.
