Chateauneuf les Safres Red 2023

Produced in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, located in the Southern Rhône Valley, France. The vineyard is part of the prestigious Clos du Caillou estate.

The wine is a blend primarily composed of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grape varieties, typical of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region.

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo traditional vinification methods. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in a combination of concrete vats and oak barrels to enhance complexity and structure.

Châteauneuf Les Safres Red exhibits a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, persistent finish featuring hints of black pepper and leather.
