Origin
The Colares Chitas Ramisco Reserva is produced in the Colares wine region of Portugal, a unique coastal appellation known for its sandy soils and traditional viticulture.
Variety
This wine is made exclusively from the Ramisco grape variety, an indigenous Portuguese red grape native to the Colares region.
Production
The grapes are hand-harvested from vines grown in sandy soils, which naturally protect against phylloxera. The wine undergoes traditional fermentation and is aged in oak barrels to develop complexity and structure before bottling as a Reserva.
