Porto Lagrima White

Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, a renowned wine region famous for its fortified Port wines. Quinta da Pacheca estate is located in this historic appellation, benefiting from the region’s unique terroir and climate.

This white Port is typically crafted from a blend of traditional white grape varieties native to the Douro region, such as Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Rabigato, and Viosinho.

The production process involves harvesting ripe white grapes followed by gentle pressing to extract the juice. Fermentation is partially completed before fortification with grape spirit (aguardente) to halt fermentation, preserving natural sweetness and alcohol content. The wine is then aged in stainless steel or neutral oak casks to maintain freshness and aromatic complexity.
