Porto Ruby

Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, a UNESCO World Heritage region renowned for its terraced vineyards and traditional Port wine production.

Blend of traditional Douro grape varieties typically used in Ruby Port production, including but not limited to:

• Touriga Nacional
• Touriga Franca
• Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo)
• Tinta Barroca
• Tinto Cão

The wine is produced by fermenting the grape must and then fortifying it with grape spirit to halt fermentation, preserving natural sweetness and vibrant fruit flavors. It is aged in large oak vats for a short period to maintain its fresh and fruity character, typical of Ruby Port style.

NV Porto Ruby from Qta da Pacheca displays a deep ruby red color with intense aromas of ripe red berries, cherries, and plums, complemented by subtle hints of spice and chocolate. On the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and smooth with balanced sweetness and a lingering fruity finish.
