Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, a renowned region for Port wine production. Quinta da Pacheca is a historic estate located in this demarcated wine region, known for its traditional methods and quality wines.

This Tawny Port is typically made from a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties common to the Douro region, including but not limited to Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão.

The wine undergoes fermentation followed by fortification with grape spirit to stop fermentation, preserving natural sweetness. It is then aged in wooden casks for the specified number of years, allowing gradual oxidation and concentration of flavors characteristic of Tawny Port. The aging process imparts a rich amber color and complex nutty, dried fruit notes.
