Lagrima Porto White

Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, a renowned wine region known for its unique terroir and ideal conditions for Port wine production.

This White Port is typically crafted from a blend of traditional white grape varieties native to the Douro region, such as Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Rabigato, and Gouveio.

The grapes are harvested and gently pressed to extract the juice, which is then fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve fresh and aromatic qualities. The fermentation is interrupted by the addition of grape spirit (aguardente), fortifying the wine and halting fermentation to retain natural sweetness. The wine is then aged in stainless steel or neutral oak casks to maintain its crisp and fruity character before bottling.
