Origin
Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, one of the oldest and most prestigious wine regions in the world, known for its unique terroir and traditional Port wine production.
Variety
Made from a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties commonly used in Port production, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão.
Production
The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with the addition of grape spirit to halt fermentation, preserving natural sweetness and alcohol. The wine is aged in large oak vats for 4 to 6 years before bottling, allowing it to develop complexity while maintaining freshness typical of Late Bottled Vintage Ports.
