Porto Ruby

Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, the traditional and renowned region for Port wine production.

Blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties commonly used in Ruby Port, including but not limited to:

• Touriga Nacional
• Touriga Franca
• Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo)
• Tinta Barroca
• Tinto Cão

The wine is produced by fermenting the grape must and then fortifying it with grape spirit to stop fermentation early, preserving natural sweetness and rich fruit flavors. The Ruby style is aged for a short period in large oak vats to maintain its vibrant color and fresh fruit character.

• Color: Deep ruby red with vibrant hues.
• Aroma: Intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherry, raspberry, and blackberry, with subtle hints of spice.
• Palate: Full-bodied and smooth with rich fruit flavors, balanced sweetness, and a velvety texture.
• Finish: Long and fruity finish with a pleasant warmth.

• Perfect accompaniment to chocolate desserts, such as chocolate mousse or dark chocolate.
• Pairs well with strong cheeses like blue cheese or aged cheddar.
• Excellent with nuts and dried fruits as an aperitif or dessert wine.
• Can be enjoyed on its own as a digestif.
