Origin
Produced in the Bairrada region of Portugal, known for its unique terroir and limestone-rich soils which contribute to the wine's distinctive character.
Variety
Made from old vines (vinhas velhas) of indigenous Portuguese grape varieties, primarily Bical and Cercial, which are traditional white grapes of the Bairrada region.
Production
The grapes are hand-harvested from old vines to ensure concentration and complexity. The wine undergoes controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal character. It is aged on fine lees for several months to enhance texture and complexity before bottling.
