Produced in the Alentejo region of Portugal, Esporão Reserva Red is crafted at the renowned Herdade do Esporão estate, known for its commitment to quality and sustainable viticulture.

This wine is a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties, primarily including:

• Aragonez (Tempranillo)
• Alicante Bouschet
• Trincadeira

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for approximately 12 months in French and American oak barrels, which contributes to its complexity and structure. The production follows sustainable practices aligned with Esporão’s environmental commitments.

Esporão Reserva Red displays a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, complemented by subtle spicy and vanilla notes from oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied with balanced acidity and smooth tannins, offering flavors of plum, cherry, and hints of cocoa and tobacco. The finish is long and elegant.
