Produced in the Vinho Verde region of Portugal, Quinta do Ameal is located in the sub-region of Monção, known for its ideal terroir for the Loureiro grape variety. The vineyards benefit from Atlantic climatic influences and granite-based soils.

The wine is made predominantly from the Loureiro grape, a native white grape variety of the Vinho Verde region, prized for its aromatic profile and crisp acidity.

The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed to preserve their delicate aromas. Fermentation occurs at controlled low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to maintain freshness and aromatic intensity. The wine is bottled young to retain its characteristic lively acidity and subtle effervescence typical of Vinho Verde wines.
