Porto Ruby

Produced in the Douro Valley region of Portugal, renowned for its historic and prestigious Port wine production.

Blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties typically used in Ruby Port production, including but not limited to:

• Touriga Nacional
• Touriga Franca
• Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo)
• Tinta Barroca
• Tinto Cão

Ruby Port is produced by fermenting grape must with the addition of grape spirit (aguardente) to stop fermentation early, preserving natural sweetness and fresh fruit character. The wine is aged for a short period in large oak vats or stainless steel tanks to maintain its vibrant ruby color and youthful profile.

Royal Oporto NV Porto Ruby displays a deep ruby red color with intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherry, blackberry, and plum. The palate is rich and full-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture, balanced sweetness, and a lingering fruity finish.
