Private Selection Red is typically a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties, often including Aragonez (Tempranillo), Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet, selected for their complementary characteristics.

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo controlled fermentation to preserve the varietal aromas and structure. The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels to enhance complexity and balance before bottling.
