Year Old Royal Oporto 2040

Produced in the Douro Valley, Portugal, a renowned region for Port wine production. Real Companhia Velha is one of the oldest and most prestigious Port wine houses, established in 1756.

This Port is typically a blend of traditional Douro grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão, selected for their quality and aging potential.

The wine undergoes traditional foot-treading fermentation in lagares (granite troughs) to extract color and tannins. It is then aged for a significant period in oak casks, allowing complex maturation and development of rich flavors characteristic of aged Royal Oporto.
